Training Method
Less Hype, More Science
Exercise science consistently points to the same foundational principles: train the fundamental movement patterns of the human body.

Major Muscle Groups. Compound Lifts. Progressive Overload. That’s the Name of the Game.
Every client begins with a movement assessment to identify the appropriate starting point, whether that means learning a pattern, refining it, or progressing it.
From there, training focuses on building balanced strength through both vertical and horizontal movement patterns while gradually increasing the challenge over time through progressive overload.
The result is a practical, full-body approach that improves strength, mobility, coordination, body composition, and long-term physical capability.
Why Fitness Feels So Confusing
The world is full of contradictory and confusing information about health, longevity, nutrition, and exercise. Just figuring out what actually matters, how to fit it into an already packed schedule, and then staying consistent with it can feel overwhelming. It would be a full-time job in itself—well, it actually happens to be my full-time job.
What Actually Works
The reality is that the fundamental principles of exercise and nutrition are straightforward. That doesn't mean it's easy. But it does mean that much of what's out there is designed to grab attention rather than produce results —designed to confuse you into buying something you don't need, earn a like or subscription because of someone's "fresh take" on fitness, and ultimately add to your growing frustration when it inevitably doesn't bring about results. And you're just trying to sustain a healthy existence, gosh-dangit!
What works is boring. What brings results is not flashy. It's repeatable effort, guided by sound strength-training principles and solid nutritional science to achieve body recomposition (build muscle and lose fat).

Originally, I came from a background in business analytics, but over time I realized I wanted something different.
I wanted to spend my days helping people make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. The body is deeply connected to the mind and spirit—and while the latter two are well above my pay grade, helping people take ownership of their physical health is something I’m passionate about.
So I dove headfirst into personal training and nutrition education and never looked back.
